Management Board Change at eos.uptrade
eos.uptrade’s Michael Kujas, the founder of the mobility software specialist, has handed over the CEO post as of June 1 to successor Mathias Hüske. He now runs the business together with CFO Babette Röder.
Michael Kujas founded the Hamburg-based company in 2000, which has been part of Siemens Mobility since 2017. At the Mobility Summit, a meeting of industry representatives and experts, Kujas symbolically handed over the steering wheel to Mathias Hüske. “My journey with eos.uptrade has been extraordinarily exciting, eventful and fulfilling. However, after more than 20 years, it is now time for me to tackle new challenges,” says Michael Kujas about his personal decision. “eos.uptrade is well positioned for the future and I can pass on the responsibility to Mathias Hüske with a positive feeling. I sincerely wish him and eos.uptrade continued success.”
Mathias Hüske thanked his predecessor and emphasized that he sees digital solutions such as those from eos.uptrade as the key to progress in the mobility industry. “Michael Kujas has pioneered digital ticketing in the transportation network sector with eos.uptrade and has actively shaped the industry with his innovations. I sincerely thank him for his entrepreneurial achievements and the trustworthy partnership.” Hüske emphasized that he sees digital solutions, like those from eos.uptrade, as key to continued progress in the mobility industry: “We will further develop our portfolio of digital sales systems and ticketing solutions for public transport and private mobility service providers in a future-oriented manner so that we can provide the important momentum needed for greater sustainability in the mobility of tomorrow.”
The new CEO has already been with eos.uptrade since 2019 and will now be responsible for Sales, Products, Projects and HR. Before joining the company, Mathias Hüske held various leading positions at Deutsche Bahn and brings more than 20 years of experience in the mobility business.
