VVW relies on eos.uptrade's mobile ticketing solution

Hamburg: The Verkehrsverbund Warnow (VVW) will in future introduce its own mobile ticketing. eos.uptrade, the specialist for mobile and online ticketing, was able to fend off the competition and come up on top with its solution concept. The mobile shop is to be installed in the already available VVW information app. HAFAS driving information will provided by HaCon, a partner of eos.uptrade. VVW and eos.uptrade are also planning an online shop together in the long term.

"We are very pleased that we will equip VVW with our solution for public transportation tickets," says Michael Kujas, Managing Director of eos.uptrade, adding: "Since Rostock is my hometown, of course the project is especially close to my heart."

VVW is a new customer for eos.uptrade. Give that the Rostock region is visited from many tourists, fast and easy ticket purchasing is especially important here. Among other things, features like purchase without registration and payment via mobile phone options will be introduced.
