“Hamburg’s Best Employers 2017”: eos.uptrade wins four-star award
Although they took part in the competition “Hamburg’s Best Employers” for the first time, Hamburg-based software experts for online sales systems and ticketing solutions were awarded four stars straight away. The competition not only brings the recognition that comes with the award but also provides the participants with feedback on their personnel management.
“We are convinced that employee satisfaction is the most important success factor for our company,” says Petra Gollor, Head of Human Resources and Finance. She adds: “Confucius teaches us that if you choose a job you love, you will never have to work a day of your life. That’s also our philosophy here at eos.uptrade.”
The positive result of the competition reflects the opinion of eos.uptrade’s staff. eos.uptrade performed particularly well in the categories Teamwork, Work-life Balance, Ways to increase employee satisfaction and Trusting employees. The company also excelled when it comes to being open to new ideas and regarding employees’ participation in the decision-making process.
eos.uptrade looks back at a very successful year. Our smartphone-based Check-In/Check-Out solution “eos.oneTouch” won several awards and we achieved our highest turnover in the company’s history. One reason for this success is the range of excellent development opportunities within the team. Another reason lies in the relaxed and informal atmosphere in the office and people enjoying their work. The right mixture of all these elements has led to this positive overall result.
The competition “Hamburg’s Best Employers” took place for the 9th time since it was first initiated in 2009 by Prof. Werner Sarges of the Helmut Schmidt University Hamburg, the IMWF Institute for Management and Economic Research, alster radio 106.8 and Hamburger Abendblatt.
